Réka Király

They say that the road is the goal. That is certainly the case in artist Réka Király’s project Not so serious, where she plays without a plan, starting straight with a paper and a cutter. By cutting and creating different shapes, Király receives numerous units from which she builds her collages with – almost like playing with a large puzzle. The result of the project is an endless combination of paper collages in a subtle colour palette with the special light conditions of Nordic countries. The interest in the project definitely lies in the evolvement.

Réka Király is a Hungarian born graphic- and surface designer based in Helsinki, Finland. She has participated in both solo and group exhibitions. Four of the process collages from the project Not so serious are for sale in limited edition of 30 here at Up Your Wall.
