Yuki Mori is a Berlin-based artist born in Japan. She has exhibited in several group and solo exhibitions at galleries in both London and Berlin.
In her watercolour artwork, Yuki Mori is working with the subconscious, with what can not be seen in the visible world that we view through our eyes. The artworks are made with as little pre-conceived notion as possible, created without the use of her eyes except for during the stage of colouring. The paintings therefore leaves and engages the viewer to interpret the motif, or the non-motif, from it’s own world of imagination.
